Frequently asked questions
How long can I store handmade soaps?
We recommend using it within 4–6 months for the best scent. The aroma may mellow, but the soap remains safe to use even years later. Store in a cool, dry place.
Are the botanicals on top of cold pressed soaps meant to be used?
They’re mainly decorative and will drop off during the first wash.
Why do handmade bar soaps look different from batch to batch?
Variations in colour, swirls, and botanicals are natural in handcrafted products and each batch is unique.
There is a slight white power layer on my bar soap. Is it normal?
Yes, it is normal. It’s a natural result of the curing process and does not affect safety or quality.
Do handmade bar soaps melt easily, and how long do they last?
They can soften if left in water. With a draining soap dish, a bar typically lasts 4–6 weeks of daily use.
What wax do you use and how long does each candle burn?
We use natural soy wax for a clean, even burn. Depending on size, it burns typically 20–40+ hours.
Why is the first burn for candles important?
Burning for 2–3 hours on the first use prevents tunnelling and ensures an even melt pool.
Are your candles heavily scented?
They are softly balanced — enough to gently fragrance your space without overpowering it.
